Esther Cronin, a model turned entrepreneur, has experienced firsthand the toll that unsustainable beauty standards and a fast-paced lifestyle can take. Her journey led her to create Ready&Reset, a wellness program designed to empower women to reclaim their health, confidence, and vitality through a sustainable, holistic approach. With a foundation rooted in personal experience, ancient wisdom, and modern science, Ready&Reset is a lifestyle overhaul that integrates nutrition, movement, mindset, and community, all tailored specifically for women. We caught up with Cronin to learn more.

In conversation with Esther Cronin

What inspired you to create Ready&Reset?

What finally propelled me to launch it was seeing the women around me — brilliant, beautiful women — feeling stuck and overwhelmed. I wanted to create something simple, actionable, and empowering that would help women rediscover their confidence naturally and without stress. Over the last 15 years, it’s been a real personal journey of learning things the hard way but also being super curious about experimenting with food and finding better ways to feel and look good. Every one of those highs, lows, and lessons shaped the foundation of the Ready&Reset program.

You’ve said as a model, the industry demands on you led you to a place that was not sustainable. Could you share more about that?

I started modelling during a time when ‘thin’ wasn’t just idealised — it was mandatory. My body is naturally athletic, I have boobs, I have a booty, and I was constantly battling to be a size I was never meant to be. I was weighed regularly by my agents, was overworked, and took extreme measures to be unnaturally small. The sad thing was the thinner I got, the more work I booked, which really messed with my head. I wouldn’t say I had an eating disorder, but I was very young and wasn’t coping mentally. But I knew I wasn’t alone, many other girls were compromising their health to reach unattainable standards, often with little to no real education or support.

It’s certainly gotten better in the modelling industry, but what breaks my heart is that this kind of pressure isn’t just amongst models anymore. It’s our daughters, our girlfriends, and any woman scrolling through filtered images on social media, feeling the pressure to look a way their body is just not meant to be. I wanted to help women reconnect with their bodies, redefine their confidence, and feel empowered, no matter their shape, size, or stage of life.

How did your upbringing influence your approach to health and wellness?

I grew up surrounded by health and fitness. My parents met on a modelling job for Bendon in the ‘80s, which says it all. My earliest memories are from the Les Mills crèche in the ‘90s, where I watched my mum prioritise her wellbeing in a way that felt so natural… taking care of herself long before ‘self-care’ became a buzzword. She’s been a real inspiration and I probably haven’t thanked her enough. I love looking at those old photos of her and my dad, and they still look as amazing as ever. They’re the greatest example of how living well looks in the long run.

How has your wellness journey shaped the philosophy behind Ready&Reset?

My wellness journey taught me that confidence starts from within. It’s not about hitting a specific number on the scale or fitting into a dress size — it’s about how you feel in your body. When I finally made peace with that, I realised that true transformation happens in small, sustainable steps. That’s the heart of Ready&Reset.

Why was it important for you to incorporate in digital detoxes and other modalities?

Technology is amazing, but being constantly connected can wreak havoc on our mental health, sleep, and ability to focus. It’s creating boundaries so you can be more present, recharge, and reconnect with yourself. In addition to digital detoxing, we use modalities like breathwork, mindfulness exercises, and even environmental tweaks to create a calm, supportive space for transformation.

What sets Ready&Reset apart from other wellness programs?

It’s always hard talking about your own recipes, but from what I hear, it’s the food. You never feel hungry, and those sugar cravings disappear. It’s designed specifically for women, with every detail tailored to our needs. It’s not just about weight loss… It’s a lifestyle shift. You’ll learn how to truly take care of yourself, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
