In the world of fashion, every detail matters, and your hair is no exception. When it comes to putting on a runway show, the products we call upon to create our models’ hairstyles need to be highly-functional, effective, and beautiful.
There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes that our guests seldom see. Our teams work together for weeks on their creative concepts to ensure that both the hair, the beauty, and the styling harmonise on the runway. From sleek and polished to bold and avant-garde, your hair can become an integral part of the overall narrative.
For the FQ ‘Love on the Run’ Runway, stylist Sammy Salsa sourced pieces from local and international designers to create wearable looks for autumn that paired subdued prints, high-leathers, and seasonal hues for impact. For this reason, our beauty look was relatively minimal with glints of metallic shine. This opened the door for the hair to shine in all of its natural glory. The hair stylists adapted to each models’ unique hair type: long straight hair was pulled back into sleek high buns, natural waves were treated to the ‘wet-look’, and curls of all levels were defined and voluminous.
