Soul bar

Auckland City is blessed with a thriving hospitality scene, with world-class restaurants and bars at every turn.

Throughout NZFW, head to one of these hotspots for a bite to eat or a cocktail.

White + Wongs (Viaduct Harbour)
White + Wong’s “East meets West” cuisine takes classic street foods from China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand, and does amazing things with the flavours.

Harbourside Ocean Bar Grill (CBD)
An urbane locale offering sophisticated seafood dishes, cocktails and an all-season, panoramic deck.

Soul Bar (Viaduct Harbour)
Soul is in the heart of Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour. The bistro prides itself on its use of the finest, freshest local ingredients and, as may be expected from its location, Soul has an emphasis on seafood.

Woodpecker Hill (Parnell)
This is where the smokin’ meets the hot. In the Woodpecker Hill kitchen, the flavours of the East embrace the culinary techniques of the West.

Regatta (Takapuna)

Sweat Shop Brew Kitchen (Freemans Bay)
A bustling joint with an ample outdoor seating area featuring house-made beers and eclectic comfort food.

Cable Bay (Waiheke Island)
Dedicated to crafting premium wines known for their elegance, subtlety and depth, Cable Bay Vineyard also has an award-winning restaurant set amidst vines and olive trees with stunning views over the Hauraki Gulf and Auckland city.

Mexico
Mexico celebrates the vibrant, fresh and lighter side of Mexican cuisine at its multiple venues across Auckland.

1885 (Britomart)
1885 Britomart is a sophisticated multi-level bar in that plays host to some of New Zealand’s top DJs.

The Culpeper (Princes Wharf)
A light, airy bistro with a tropical vibe turning out high-end BBQ, seafood and cocktails.

Ostro (Britomart)

L’affare Melrose (Newmarket)
Iconic Wellington coffee roaster L’affare has now opened a beautiful espresso bar and eatery in Newmarket.
