Lillet spring gin cocktail

Often served chilled with a slice of lemon or orange, lillet is a French aperitif made from a blend of Bordeaux wine and citrus liqueur and it comes in blanc, rose or rouge.

Not only is this drink a ridiculously pretty addition to any cocktail party, it’s also a refreshing way to toast the arrival of spring.

What you’ll need:

  • lillet blanc
  • grapefruit juice
  • gin
  • ice
  • edible flowers
  1. Combine 2 parts Lillet Blanc, 2 parts grapefruit juice, 1 part gin, and ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake until well chilled. Strain and divide among stemmed cocktail glasses.
  2. Garnish with edible flowers (we used violas). Serve immediately.

Tip: You can even freeze your choice of flowers in ice trays as an added touch.
