But in a few short hours yesterday, her record was broken and it was none other than Beyonce who claimed the crown.
It’s hardly surprising that Beyonce’s twin pregnancy announcement is the photo which smashed Selena’s record, given that it basically broke the Internet within minutes of her posting. Her stunning photo reveal has collected over 8.9 million likes.
“We would like to share our love and happiness,” the caption reads. “We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters.”
