Beyoncé & Jay-Z sparkle in debut campaign appearance for Tiffany & Co.

A creative collaboration with the Carters ushers in a new direction for the luxury jewellers.

In an exciting collision of firsts, Tiffany & Co. have just debuted ‘About Love’ in creative collaboration with none other than Beyoncé and Jay-Z. With a heritage that spans 183 years, this campaign ushers in a new direction for luxury jewellers Tiffany & Co. 

It’s the power couple’s debut appearance in a campaign together, as well as the first time Jean-Michel Basquait’s painting Equals Pi (1982) has been on show to the public. Last, but by no means least, the Tiffany Diamond makes a debut—considered one of the most important gemstone discoveries of the 19th century, it is sported by Beyoncé throughout. The Tiffany Diamond weighs 128.54 carats and boasts an unprecedented 82 facets.

While Jay-Z notably wears a pair of cuff links (pictured below) reconstructed from Jean Schlumberfer’s—a designer at the house during the 60s and 70s—iconic Bird on a Rock brooch design. The Tiffany T collection is also worn throughout.

As a brand that has always stood for love, strength and self-expression, we could not think of a more iconic couple that better represents Tiffany’s values. We are honoured to have the Carters as a part of the Tiffany family,” says Alexandre Arnault, Executive Vice President of Product & Communications. 

As a part of the house’s partnership with the Carters, Tiffany & Co. has pledged a $2 million commitment towards scholarship and internship programs for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

Stay tuned for the film directed by Emmanuel Adjei that features Beyoncé’s rendition of iconic song Moon River, popularised by Audrey Hepburn in 1961 cult classic film Breakfast at Tiffany’s.  It’s set to release on September 15th, complete with Super 8 footage captured by Jay-Z himself.
