Summer is here—and with it, the chance to relax and get stuck into a good podcast.

With plenty of beach days and road trips ahead, it’s time to retire Netflix or NEON and instead, get your podcast playlist in order. Here at FQ, we like to think we’re pretty podcast savvy, so we’ve each picked one we think is worthy of a listen—plus, of course, the pair of Sennheiser headphones we’ll be plugging into, to ensure we don’t miss a single word.

Read on to see the summer podcast picks we recommend you download immediately:

Podcast pick: The Business of Fashion podcast
‘Inside Fashion’, the podcast by Business of Fashion, offers a nerdy deep dive into the industry, whether it’s Gucci’s CEO talking about the Chinese market or a conversation about the rise of the modest dressing movement. Yes it may sound a tiny bit dry, but if you’re interested in the people behind the scenes of some of the world’s biggest fashion brands, it’s an insightful listen. For another perspective on style, i-D’s fun Fash-on Fash-off podcast explores everything from the scumbro trend to Virgil Abloh’s rise.

I’ll be listening on:
Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless In-Ear headphones, $549 from JB Hi-Fi

Sennheiser Urbanite XL Wireless Over-Ear HeadphonesTerri Dunn, digital content producer

Podcast pick: Offline, The Podcast
If style bloggers and influencers from across the ditch take up a chunk of your Instagram feed like they do ours, then Offline, The Podcast should be on your holiday listen list. Hosted by journalist Alison Rice, this is a series of honest, #nofilter conversations with the women behind some of your favourite Instagram accounts including Sara Crampton of Harper and Harley, Carmen Hamilton of Chronicles of Her and former magazine editor Paula Joye.

I’ll be listening on:
Sennheiser Urbanite XL Wireless Over-Ear Headphones, $398 from Harvey Norman

Sennheiser CX6.00 BT Wireless In-ear HeadphonesKelly McAuliffe, digital editor

Podcast pick: The goop podcast
Love her or loathe her, Gwyneth Paltrow knows how to make a podcast that truly hits the spot. Sure, you’re bound to come across very GP-esque cultural references at times, but this podcast also covers topics as diverse as ‘Super Woman Syndrome’, ‘Are We All Psychic?’ and possibly the best title for a podcast episode ever: ‘It’s Normal to Occasionally Hate Your Spouse’. Gwyn, naturally, also has a bevy of famous friends to draw upon for episodes – Olivia Wilde, Chrissy Teigen and Sarah Jessica Parker, just for starters. It’s quite a treat to hear the A-lister pick their brains about everything from Sarah Jessica’s refusal to give up her Blackberry to what it was like for Olivia being brought up by two war journalist parents. And hey, you know you’re onto something good if the first guest is Oprah!

I’ll be listening on:
Sennheiser CX6.00 BT Wireless In-ear Headphones, $149 from JB Hi-Fi

Sennheiser HD 4.30i Over-Ear Headphones (iOS, White)Lucy Slight, features director

Podcast pick: My Favourite Murder podcast
If you were hooked on Serial, binge-watched Making a Murderer and fizz over anything to do with true crime then you’ve probably already subscribed to this hit podcast. If not, where have you been? Hosted by two kick-ass American feminists, Georgia Hardstark and Karen Kilgariff, it’s a light-hearted take on some pretty dark stuff – and serves as a vehicle for highlighting the importance of mental health awareness, supporting victims of crime and throwing politeness out the window, all in one hilariously entertaining narrative.

I’ll be listening on:
Sennheiser HD 4.30i Over-Ear Headphones (iOS, White), $199 from JB Hi-Fi

Sennheiser HD 2.10 On Ear Foldable HeadphonesJessica-Belle Greer, features editor

Podcast pick: Oprah’s SuperSoul Conversations
If you love Oprah (and let’s face it, we all do) a personal selection of the self-made mogul’s favourite interviews with thought-leaders is the perfect way to unwind as well as upskill over summer. She talks to stars such as Julia Roberts and spiritualists such as LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner about the biggest lessons they’ve learned throughout their spectacular careers – a special mention must go to her episode with Ralph Lauren on the eve of his brand’s 50th anniversary. As she says in the introduction, Oprah believes the most valuable gift you can give yourself is taking time to be more fully present, and her SuperSoul Conversations will inspire your curiosity.

I’ll be listening on:
Sennheiser HD 2.10 On Ear Foldable Headphones, $99.99 from Noel Leeming

Podcast recommendations
Other podcasts you must give a whirl:

The High Low – a super-popular weekly pop-culture/news podcast presented by posh but sassy Brits Dolly Alderton and Pandora Sykes.

The Teacher’s Pet – hosted by The Australian journalist Hedley Thomas, this award-winning podcast investigates Australia’s most famous cold case: the disappearance of young wife and mother Lynette Dawson in 1982 and the role her star footy player husband may have played.

Girlboss Radio – Everyone’s favourite #Girlboss Sophia Amoruso interviews boundary-pushing women who’ve made their mark—but typically, doesn’t sugar coat anything and gets right to the point.

Armchair Expert  – Dax Shepherd’s podcast “celebrates the messiness of being human” and the Hollywood actor (who is married to Kristen Bell) doesn’t pull any punches with his celebrity guests.
