Introducing the latest innovations on the science of anti-ageing skincare.

These are the latest creams, serums and skin tints that go above and beyond the call of anti-ageing duty.

1. Clarins Super Restorative Day Cream, $154, includes a new plant extract with exceptional hydrating properties named harungana. Mixed with mango and shea butters, it will restore the water and oil balance of mature skin within days.

2. If you’re impatient and want instant results, Aspect Extreme B 17, $128, is a serum that’s jam-packed with the latest cutting-edge protein technology, reducing the look of wrinkles and redness – fast.

3. There are a cocktail of rejuvenating ingredients in Olay CC Cream, $30, that help to treat brown spots, smooth fine lines and correct uneven texture while giving skin a lightweight cover. We love the SPF15 and the hydrating creamy tint that leaves skin feeling nourished and looking great.

4. A measured dose of Eve Lom Age Defying Treatment, $314, for 9o capsules, gives skin a powerful naturally-derived protein punch. Designed to be smoothed on the face at night, the vitamin E helps restore radiance, and is ideal for sensitive skin.

5. Chanel Le Lift Firming Creme, $218, was created from research on how skin ages in the environment, how it copes under stress or what reaction it has to a poor diet. Using an extract from the root of an edulis plant, it boosts the production of protein in skin – which helps firm, tone and correct sagging.
