Fans of clothing brand Aje will be pleased to know the Australian brand has opened a new store — Aje Athletica in Auckland’s Newmarket. Opening last Thursday, it’s part of an eleven store roll-out across Australasia to exclusively sell the brand’s athleticwear.
Once inside the store at Westfield Newmarket, you’ll find racks filled with signature branded leggings, bras, tees and jackets – athletic wear designed through the lens of a fashion house that aims to enrich physical performance and support personal wellbeing.
The Aje Athletica store was developed with design partner ProSpace and built locally by Fitout Solutions. It brings some of the outside in with leafy green plants and huge tree trunk tables. A modern and contemporary space featuring muted earthy tones, the store is also a sanctuary where customers can recharge. Aje co-founder and CEO Adrian Norris refers to the Aje Athletica stores as sanctuaries, and says they ‘offer a high fashion service proposition for an athleticwear brand and take customers on an immersive wellness experience’.
Norris adds: “Following the successful global launch of Aje Athletica in May and the strong demand for the brand from our New Zealand customers, we are thrilled to be opening our first stand-alone athletica store at Newmarket. The Aje brand has continued to experience significant growth and traction in New Zealand particularly since we opened our first physical Aje mainline store in October 2019.”
