After a couple of years working as a skin therapist, at the age of 23, I made a relatively impulsive decision to start my own business. 

The beauty industry was in its infancy and very much found behind closed doors in affluent suburbs. I wanted to ensure beauty therapy was accessible to everyone, so I opened a clinic in Auckland’s Henderson and threw open the doors with large displays and visible waiting areas. After a few years’ growth, I partnered with my brother Paul to open a second Auckland clinic and we’ve since expanded to seven. 

We’ve pioneered several advanced skin technologies in New Zealand, such as laser for skin rejuvenation, LED light therapy and permanent hair reduction.

Today, I’m most passionate about our line-up of advanced facials, which combine different technologies to address specific skin concerns and reverse ageing, including our award-winning Power of Three facial and advanced high-tech treatments. Education has always been at the forefront of everything we do, and we’re known for researching and bringing only the best equipment to our clients.

First, we do an analysis of the skin and find out what’s going on in our clients’ lives that might be having an impact on its health. It might mean that we discover they’ve been having a pretty tough time recently, so we’ll switch out their advanced facial to a relaxing treatment instead, and make a plan to see them in a couple of weeks’ time for their advanced facial.
