If you’re a loyal fan of Taylor Swift, you’ve probably already caught glimpses of her 9-bedroom, 9-bathroom penthouse apartment on Instagram. The singer hasn’t been shy about posting pics of her girl squad baking cookies and just generally hanging out-slash-looking gorgeous at her New York pad.
But photos have surfaced from when the house was on the market, giving us a full peek at the interior – and can we just say, it’s VERY Tay Swift. Exposed brick, rustic wooden floors and high beams dominate the space while the warm colour scheme consisting of deep burgundies and rich golds feels very homely. Perfect for a girl from down South!
According to property records, Swift bought the Tribeca apartment in 2014 for a cool US $19.95 million (NZD $30 million). Interestingly, Swift is reported to have purchased the property – which is actually two side-by-side lofts – from New Zealand film director Peter Jackson. This is Swift’s fourth property – the singer also owns an apartment in her adopted hometown of Nashville, Tennessee plus houses in Beverley Hills and Rhode Island.
