What the f*#& is wrong with some people?
A sports writer is getting (deservedly) slammed online for a blog he wrote criticising Rihanna’s figure. Like we need anymore negativity on the internet, amiright?
The ridic article entitled ‘Is Rihanna going to make being fat the hot new trend’ sees Barstool Sports’ Chris Spags take to the singer over her body size, based on not much more than some recent pics.
As we all know, sometimes you’re going to snapped at the wrong angle, or hey you could just be wearing oversized clothing. I mean RiRi is obvi wearing an oversized shirt and boyfriend jeans… but whatevs the reason, it’s none of his damn business and no one EVER deserves disgusting comments like, “been enjoying that good room service for a bit too long”.
Or this particular piece of nastiness: “A world of ladies shaped like the Hindenburg loaded into one-piece bathing suits may be on the horizon now that Rihanna is traipsing around out there looking like she’s in a sumo suit”, the sports blogger added.
Like WT actual F?
Twitter has naturally gone ballistic on Spags’ ass, with Ri’s fans dog-piling on him like no one’s been dog-piled on before.
One wrote, “I’ve yet to come across one male employee at barstoll that isn’t shaped like a lump of raw dough so congratulations you played yourself.”
Another cut to the chase with this: “Delete this s***. You are out of line.”

In what can be called an almost laughable response, Spags has tweeted about how he is now getting slammed and has said he’s now being cyberbullied.
Okay, seriously gals, this dude needs to check himself.
Unfortunately this is another example of a misogynistic a-hole judging a woman and her body when he has absolutely no justification or reason for making such “jokes”. The nerve, honestly. We literally can’t even.
Thankfully latest reports have it that Spags’ blog post has been taken down *breathes huge sigh of relief* but we think this proves that there’s still so much work to be done in the fight for women’s rights. This judgey shit simply isn’t acceptable.
PS: If you want a good read on one woman’s perspective on Spags’ tirade, we highly recommend you check out this Elle Australia writer’s story here.
