Our talented new intern, Ashleigh Ilton, has spent an exciting, beauty-filled first week at Miss FQ HQ thanks to Holden Spark.

Hey girls, Ash here!

I’m officially one full week in and omg, I’m loving it! This is what I want to do for the rest of my life.

My week started off with helping to source beauty products for Skye’s beauty shoots.

While zooming around in the Spark, I got to meet a heap of PR industry people who helped me pick up a range of different coloured lipsticks, perfumes and other cosmetic goodies.

Guys, so much work goes on behind the scenes of a photo shoot – I had no idea! It takes a team of models, makeup artists, art directors, photographers and stylists to get to what you see on the glossy pages of the magazine.

We shot the beauty opener first and the hair and makeup was incredible. The model, @bianca_henry_ looked like an absolute goddess! I can’t wait for you to see the final image. It’s so so beautiful!

The second part of the shoot was for one of the pages in the beauty section. I love that Miss FQ embraces all skin tones and actually recommends legit products that range from being super affordable to a little more expensive investment pieces! Perfect for us uni students and graduates who have limited funds but still wanna look fab!
