We’re addicted to Instagram
There’s nothing like ‘gramming the hell out of a good holiday, amiright? But a new study shows we’ve gotten so obsessed with getting that great ‘gram, we’re actually willing to give up vacay time to do it.
Say it ain’t so?!
Lonely Planet surveyed Brits on holiday and the results showed they spent waaaaaay too much time just editing snaps alone – in fact a whopping 79 minutes a day.
If you do the maths, that’s an hour and twenty minutes of precious rest, relaxation and sight-seeing time lost.
Instead of actually seeing our surroundings, we’re fiddling with filters, and hash-tagging with abandon.
Oh, and the study also revealed we’re selfie-crazy (on holiday at least) taking around 10 pictures a day of ourselves (and our mates!) as opposed to seven snaps of our surroundings.
What’s the point in ticking a destination off your bucket list if you’re seeing it through your iPhone, people?!
