Prepare to feel all of the heartbreak feels

By slaying on the runway and posing happy Insta snaps about “the most incredible performer on the planet”, Bella Hadid did a damn good job of making it look like she wasn’t at all phased about her breakup with ex-boyf The Weeknd.

But in a new interview with Teen Vogue, the supermodel has revealed how hurt she really was.

Since talk and PDA photos of The Weeknd’s new relationship with singer Selena Gomez have become headline news errywhere, Bella has opened up about how she felt after their split which occurred just three weeks before the Victoria’s Secret show in November last year.

“It was my first breakup—or second, next to the horse—and so public. As an outsider, you might think I handled it so well,” she admitted, “but it’s always in your heart, and you always feel it very heavily. It’ll be hard for a while. Love hurts, but you have to pull through.”

But that doesn’t mean there wasn’t some truth to those posts – in fact, she revealed that her feeling haven’t, and won’t, go away.

“I’ll always respect him, and I’ll always love him,” she said. “Sometimes you want to be sad about it or handle it differently, but at the end of the day, you never want to burn a bridge that you’ve fought so hard to build.”

IMO, more people should handle public breakups like Bella Hadid. Ya feel?
