How to make inexpensive flowers look impressive

4 November 2016
By Fashion Quarterly

Take an affordable bunch of flowers and make them look professional in approx. 3 minutes flat!

You will need:

An affordable bunch of roses or other flowers such as daisies or carnations
A newspaper – opt for pages with print rather than pictures. You could also go the extra mile and dye the newsprint with tea.
Twine
Scissors

Instructions

Cut the stems of the roses on an angle and trim the leaves at least halfway up the stem. Fold the newspaper into a triangle with the point facing away from you. Place roses onto the left-hand side of the newspaper and roll carefully until the roses are wrapped in newsprint. Tie the base tightly with twine. Add a love note, and voila!
