Warm up those credit cards – Chanel and Tiffany & Co are set to open imminently!
While we’ve known for some time downtown Auckland has been a target for international luxury brands Chanel and Tiffany & Co, confirmation this week around timings has brought us one step closer.
Sarah Hull, spokeswoman for Cooper and Company of the Britomart, told The New Zealand Herald the $40 million refurbishment of Britomart’s historic property at 37 Galway St on Takutai Square is nearing completion and the two boutiques are preparing to open in the next few weeks.
According to Hull, Chanel is set to open mid-August and Tiffany & Co hope to start trading in September.
Neither brand has had a standalone retail presence in New Zealand before, although Tiffany & Co currently has a boutique within Auckland’s T Galleria by DFS.
