Taylor Swift makes Forbes power women list

Taylor Swift has been named one of the most powerful women in the world after making her first entrance in Forbes Power Women List this year.  The Bad Blood singer whose fans refer to themselves as Swifties has a strong cult following among millions, Swift is ranked 64 and is also the youngest in the list.

At 25 Swift has sold millions of records, she’s also one of the most followed celebrities on Twitter with 58 million followers, Forbes estimates her earnings last year were US$64 million.

In the Forbes women power list of 100 Swift sits amongst some of the most accomplished women, Angela Merkel topped the list for the fifth time in a row, Hillary Clinton who could become the world’s most powerful leader in 2016 has moved to second place this year and The Queen sits at 41 in the list.
