From feathered false lashes, shimmering gold crescents, soft romantic hairpieces, to the bold, avant-garde statement looks, these striking beauty moments are set to become our latest trends.

Coquette hair 2.0

At London Fashion Week, the Chopova Lowena runway made a bold statement by reimagining the classic bow. Models strutted the runway with oversized black leather bows, adorned with metal studs, blending the softness of coquette with punk aesthetics. This edgier take on the trend feels fresh, but what truly captivated us was the intricate hair adornments at Emilia Wickstead. Their models sported elegant updos embellished with ornate jewels, delicate lace, and florals reminiscent of a French garden. This old glamour approach is sure to be a major trend for the upcoming wedding season.

The return of the smokey eye

I don’t know about you, but it’s been some time since I’ve sported a smokey eye. Yet, the classic smokey eye was back at its grunge-y best at the Dsquared2 show bringing a raw, rebellious edge. For a more wearable take, I was particularly drawn to the look at Jonathan Cohen, where the smokey eye was reimagined with a softer, more refined touch. Models donned a Cleopatra-inspired winged liner paired with a beautifully di!used smokey waterline, creating an alluring yet understated elect.

Baby pink lips

At Sandy Liang, nostalgia took centre stage as models sported pastel frosted pink lips — a clear nod to the Y2K era. While the mere thought of frosted lips might make any millennial cringe, there’s a modern way to channel this throwback look without the shimmer overload. A soft, muted pink lip — free of heavy frost — creates the perfect understated vibe. It’s a subtle yet fresh approach that brings just the right amount of early 2000s charm with a contemporary twist, making it an ideal ‘barely-there’ lip.

Wild eyes

Under the creative brilliance of Pat McGrath (a true genius in the world of make-up), Loewe models dazzled with striking gold glitter crescents sweeping above their eyes. Over at Ganni, feathery falsies adorned the lash line, adding an ethereal touch, while vibrant pops of colourful liner lit up the runway at Dries Van Noten. The end result? Bold, eye-catching beauty moments that will have you debating whether you’re brave enough to incorporate them into your daily make-up routine — or simply admire from afar.

Low-key ponytails

Oh, how we love a trend that’s e!ortlessly chic, and nothing says easy elegance like the classic ponytail. But as anyone with long hair knows, not all ponytails are created equal. This season’s focus is on the low ponytail — simple yet elevated. At Dior, they took this everyday staple up a notch with a chic looped design that we just love. Whether polished or relaxed, this might just be the easiest trend to pull o!, so embrace it while you can.
