Lap up life’s little luxuries with new arrivals from Aotearoa skincare brand TWYG, beloved clothing labels Nature Baby and Maggie Marilyn, jewellery from Meadowlark and a new scent to sample from Hermès.

1. Twice as nice

Maggie Marilyn teams up with Fella Swim once again for a captivating second collaboration, launching Summer Revival, the brand’s summer 2024 collection. This exclusive capsule features swim separates and one-pieces in two bespoke fabrics, embodying Maggie Marilyn’s signature balance of timeless and playful. As the season unfolds, expect the addition of striped shirting and the brand’s first foray into accessories in December. “When I think about fashion that defines summer, I think of nostalgic gingham and nautical stripes—timeless yet playful, perfect for warmer days,” says designer Maggie Hewitt.

2. Clean slate

Experience overnight renewal with TWYG’s new cleanser, a powerhouse formula designed to nourish and protect. Featuring New Zealand’s own Bioactive Totarol and mānuka honey, it reduces hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and combats blemishes. Packed with 10 active ingredients, including native red seaweed and kawakawa extract, it hydrates deeply while boosting elasticity and calming irritated skin. Perfect for women who want to support local beauty brands, this cleanser repairs DNA damage and enhances firmness, leaving skin refreshed by morning. As the world’s first luxury skincare with Bioactive Totarol™, TWYG (pronounced twig) offers unparalleled antioxidant protection sustainably sourced from native Tōtara trees.

3. Making scents

Hermès introduces Barénia, a sensual new fragrance crafted by perfumer Christine Nagel—her first chypre composition for the house. Capturing the duality of strength and softness, this elegant scent weaves delicate butterfly lily and miracle berry with enveloping oakwood and deep patchouli. A tribute to the free-spirited woman, Barénia expresses unbridled femininity and instinctive allure. The bottle, designed by Philippe Mouquet, echoes this duality, balancing pyramid studs with soft curves, inspired by the iconic Collier de Chien bracelet. Barénia’s magnetic essence truly awakens when it touches the skin, revealing its complex and captivating character.

4. Fresh crop

Meadowlark’s new Pleasures collection is a celebration of life’s simple joys, blending abstract luxury with nature’s imperfect beauty. Released in three drops inspired by strawberries, daisies, and minimalist design, each piece evokes a sense of bliss and abundance. Creative director Claire Hammon describes the collection as “kinda weird & also beautiful,” showcasing unconventional yet elegant designs. Crafted with diamonds and precious gemstones, Pleasures merges whimsy with opulence, capturing the cyclical energy of nature. Available in stores from October 2024 to January 2025.

5. Worn again

Celebrating 25 years, New Zealand’s organic babywear brand, Nature Baby, marks a milestone with the launch of Worn Again, a sustainability initiative where customers can return their pre-loved Nature Baby garments in exchange for store credit, keeping high-quality baby clothes in circulation. In turn, Nature Baby will resell these items at lower prices. Founded in 1998 by Jacob and Georgia Faull, Nature Baby has firmly cemented itself as the go-to for organic, natural baby products. The brand is also stocked internationally from Amsterdam, and Hong Kong with exciting expansions in the US on the horizon (watch this space).
