It’s the next-level hotel partnership you didn’t know you needed: SO/Auckland has teamed up with Superette to offer the sweet life in their SO LOFTY room on the 14th floor for October – November.
Tarek Beheiry, General Manager at SO/ Auckland, says, “We have always been committed to offering our guests an extraordinary experience at SO/ Auckland. Fashion and style are in SO/’s DNA and this partnership serves to elevate what we do best: merging luxury hospitality with cutting-edge fashion.”
“Superette’s method of providing a curated approach to fashion reflects how SO/ seeks to stand out and challenge the norms of hospitality while celebrating style. We are proud to bring this partnership to life,” he says.
Curious? So were we. Our digital editor Louise Dunn headed along for a one-night to immerse herself in the exclusive offering and try it on for size. Read her review below:
We review the Superette x SO/Suite
I’ve enjoyed my fair share of stays at SO/ Auckland. From the ultimate 24-hour staycation to the euphoric FQ Sleepover, SO/ has always delivered a memorable experience, so I was curious to see how this new partnership would compare. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel like a very important guest. My car was whisked away by the valet and the SO/ team checked me in and escorted me to my ‘room’. It was on the 14th floor and situated in the SO LOFTY suite. I was expecting superlative levels of stylish homewares – not space. The late afternoon sun beamed into the sizable suite. I popped my things down and explored the dining area, bar cart, lounge area, opened full-height double-doors into the bedroom and through to the bathroom. Not to mention the incredible view of Auckland’s downtown cityscape in the foreground, and harbour in the distance. ‘I think I’ll be very happy here’, I thought to myself.
Superette had styled the space with their latest curation of home, beauty, and wellness products. In the bathroom there was BONDI WASH hand soap, a Beauty Chef hydration elixir and a Dyson Corrale™ hair straightener.
I unpacked my things, set out my outfit for the evening and met my friend Danielle in the foyer. We were bound for SO/ Club Signature on level two, but I needed more time to get ready so it was straight back up to the SO LOFTY. We lounged, admired the views, and fanned through the beautiful coffee table books from Superette. We made our way to level two for some evening canapés and a gin and tonic before migrating to the 15th floor for a three-course meal at Harbour Society (which certainly didn’t disappoint). Hours passed chatting and before we knew it, the sun’s hazy glow was replaced with a view of glistening city lights reflecting off the ocean. Stomachs beyond their capacity, Danielle departed and I went back to my Superette x SO/Suite to run a bath and enjoy a peaceful wind down.
The next morning, the chefs prepared my breakfast on request, I worked through my emails at the glorious round dining table in my room before packing my bag and heading back out to reality.
