2. Deadly Ponies New Capsule Range

Accessories brand Deadly Ponies has released its new collection – and it’s all about form and folds. The collection draws on Avant Garde ceramicist George Ohr, whose work provided the inspiration for the shapes and silhouettes of this range. Think elegant folds and delicate pleating in a kaleidoscope of colour. And if you’re into texture, the Lizard capsule range came out this week.

3. Jasmine Sparrow's Fiora collection

Out this week is Jasmin Sparrow’s Fiora collection. With a botanical focus (just in time for Spring) uses a mix of stones with colours alluding to the elements of earth, water and sun. The namesake Fiora earrings and brooch are the stars of the show with their floral-like settings of cabochon-cut stones surrounding square quartz. And of course, we love to see those sea pearls which come in the form of a baroque style setting.

5. Aēsop Eidesis

A plethora of enchanting new scents herald the arrival of spring. But there’s one definite standout that is currently on high rotation with team FQ. Say hello to Aēsop Eidesis eau de parfum — AKA the fragrance that is soon to be known as your new signature scent. The genderless – yet undeniably romantic – scent has mesmerised our senses with its top notes of piquant black pepper, subtle hints of florals, spicy heart of frankincense and cedar, and a decadent base of sandalwood, cedar and earthy vetiver.

We’ve had the pleasure of wearing this scent for a few weeks now, so trust us when this is one you’re bound to be smitten right from the get-go. As the fragrance’s nose and longtime Aēsop collaborator, Barnabé Fillion Fillion accurately puts it: “It could be seen as the most sensual of our fragrances—it works so well with people’s skin that somehow you feel it is a layer that was already there.”

Aēsop Eidesis eau de parfum is available from 12 September.
