Introducing the things you'll want to wear, admire, and indulge in.

1. Celebrate: Olivia Cashmore's one-year anniversary

In celebration of the eponymous label’s one-year milestone, local designer Olivia Cashmore has conjured up a capsule collection that pays homage to three wardrobe staples, each designed to bridge the gap between wor and play. The classic cuts in black and white include “a great shirt that can be dressed up and down, a pair of pants that go with everything, and a dress that makes you feel like a million bucks”.

As Cashmore eloquently puts it, these are garments “in it for the long haul; three simple pieces you’ll have the longest and love the most”.

You can browse the capsule collection online, or visit Cashmore in her Newmarket showroom this Saturday 6 August, accompanied by coffee and a party bag giveaway for the first ten customers.

Discover Olivia Cashmore at oliviacashmore.com or by visiting the showroom at 15 Kent Street, Newmarket, Auckland.

2. Spritz: Narciso Rodriguez Cristal

We’re not the only ones wishing spring would hurry up and get here already. Since warmer temperatures are months away, we’re turning to Narciso Rodriguez Eau de Parfum Cristal to help us channel sunnier days.

The latest addition to the ever-popular Narciso fragrance collection is a luminous tribute to the modern-day woman. Cristal evokes a lush spring garden, featuring a burgeoning bouquet of rose and white floral notes – and, of course, the iconic heart of musc.

Plus, the scent marks a move towards a more sustainable approach to perfumery, with perfumer Natalie Gracia-Cetto harnessing an array of environmentally conscious ingredients to create the fragrance. Cristal features ethically sourced bergamot, and a one-of-a-kind rose note sourced using an innovative upcycling process of distillation which recovers olfactive components from distillation water to create the floral note. “Naturals are precious resources, so we must strive to enrich and evolve our palette with innovative ingredients like these that are responsibly sourced and made with respect for nature and biodiversity,” Gracia-Cetto explains.

Narciso Rodriguez Eau de Parfum Cristal is available now from $124 for 30 ml.

3. Peruse: Superette Ski Shop

This week, local tastemakers Superette unveiled their inaugural ‘Ski Shop’. Offering a contemporary curation of ski and outdoor wear for your next winter getaway, the best international designers are at your fingertips.

Whether you desire a chic pair of ski goggles by Celine or a fashion-forward ski jacket by P.E Nation, Superette’s Ski Shop has what you need. Co-founder Ricki Dee explains, “these curated products provide buyers with anything they would ever need for a chilly getaway — from a day carving it up at Cardrona, to a long lunch at Amisfield, and even for cosying up in front of the fire with a hot choccy”.

The Superette Ski Shop campaign was shot by Aotearoa’s Holly Burgess, capturing the stylish selection alongside Queenstown’s rugged terrain and Land Rover luxury vehicles. Purchase any item from the Ski Shop to go in the draw to win a $500 Superette voucher and a memorable experience with Range Rover.

4. Indulge: the Emma Lewisham Supernatural Sleeping Mask

It’s been three years in the making, but the latest product in Emma Lewisham’s range is now out — and we’re pretty excited. With a complex of 22 hard-working active ingredients, the mask works to repair, restore and rejuvenate the skin. The best part? You can apply the mask before bed, and there is no need to wash it off, meaning it does all the hard work while you get some shut-eye!

Shop the Emma Lewisham Supernatural Sleeping Mask at emmalewisham.com.

5. Experience: Spark's 5G Street Museum

Today the stories of iconic Aotearoa creatives are coming to life through a 5G-powered augmented reality visual spectacular. Visit ‘The Beneeverse’, a thriving world of positivity and fun by singer Benee, dance alongside master choreographer Parris Goebel, and re-visit the breakthrough moment that saw hip-hop artist David Dallas rise to fame.

Speaking of the experimental showcase, Goebel says “to be able to create art in a world where I can do almost anything I want is super exciting. I worked with Spark in a purpose built studio in Los Angeles, wearing a full-body motion capture suit that captured my every move which was then recorded and scanned to build an augmented reality avatar of myself. The inspiration behind my exhibition is about unleashing the inner power that’s within us all. I wanted people to see the feeling I experience when I move — powerful, unstoppable, invincible and like a superhuman version of myself.”

Available to the public for the next four months, you can access the Spark 5G Street Museum at Commercial Bay, Lorne Street, and Westfield Manakau in Auckland, Glover Park in Wellington, Cathedral Square in Christchurch, and Meridian Mall in Westfield in Dunedin.
