As party season hits, I’m partial to a festive look that’s monochromatic. Keep head-to-toe black interesting with dress silhouettes that don’t skimp on fun — think bows, gathered tiers and so on. Contrasting textures will help do the trick too — combine buttery leather, crisp cotton and silk satin for maximum impact. Finish off the look with a bit of twinkle in the form of simple hoops, crystal embellishments or gold hardware on your evening bag.
