5 things we love this week: new summer silhouettes, celebrating Miss Dior, & more

By Fashion Quarterly

Each week the Fashion Quarterly team rounds up what to read, buy, see, shop, eat, and drink.

1. One.3 by Mina

Mina’s ‘One.3’ is an ode to the change in season. With the sun on our skin, everything feels a little easier. The collection’s colour palette is inspired by slow beach days and ripe fruits, and stand-out silhouettes include above-the-knee gingham shorts and a tangerine-hued bias-cut t-shirt with an elbow-length sleeve, both set to be summer staples.

2. Zoe & Morgan Chapter Two

Chapter Two is the aptly-named sequel to Zoe & Morgan’s ocean-inspired collection Mutiara. In continuation of this love letter to the sea, Chapter Two takes inspiration from the smooth and fluid lines found on seashells. As the shell is a symbol of protection and femininity, each piece in the collection is named after a mythical mermaid—from the dancing mermaid Coralia to the Greek goddess of dolphins Delphina.

3. Karen Walker x Papinelle

Here’s a collection for the dreamers—the latest collaboration between Karen Walker and Papinelle launched this week. Luxurious silk and cotton styles are intended for sleep and daytime leisure, featuring a romantic ’70s-inspired botanical print.

The limited-edition collection is available at papinelle.com & karenwalker.com

4. Jeuneora Brightening Booster

Brighten your day—and your face—with the Jeuneora Brightening Booster. The highly potent serum includes both Vitamin C and Kakadu Plum Fruit extract to reduce the appearance of dark spots, brighten skin, promote collagen production, and protect against free radicals. The vegan-friendly serum is packaged in a brightly coloured bottle, and packs a punch with its fragrant smell and easily-absorbed formulation.

5. Dior's 'Miss Dior, 12 Women Artists' exhibition

Twelve talented female artists—including New Zealand’s Sabine Marcelis—have each created an artistic interpretation of the iconic Miss Dior fragrance. Their resulting sculptures and artworks are presently on display at Christian Dior’s famed Chateau de La Colle Noire in Provence, France.

While we may not be able to visit in person, we’re grateful we can admire the exhibition from afar.
