With recipes from scratch (hand-pulled noodles anyone?) and dishes you can cook in under 30 minutes, Enna Ye puts her family’s favourite recipes on the table for all to enjoy. If you’re a lover of chilli and spice, give Ye’s recipe for Biang Biang noodles a go—this one’s hot!
3. @niamhskitchen__
In between managing some of New Zealand’s top fashion brands, PR maven Niamh Gibson can be found experimenting in her kitchen, sharing her recipes via @niamhskitchen__. But don’t be fooled by the wholesome recipes alone (like the crispy prosciutto and balsamic chicken salad pictured above), a quick scroll of Gibson’s page and you’ll find sweet treats galore. Because life should be about balance, right?
4. @hitch.cooks
If you weren’t feeling hungry—you will be now. One scroll down Hitch Cooks’ feed and you’ll be spoilt for choice with mouth-watering, hearty meals that are plated to the nines. And while there are plenty of elaborate recipes to be found, nothing quite beats the simplicity of a chicken sandwich (pictured). Especially when it’s deep fried, slathered with the finest condiments, and served with a side of chips!
5. @assortment___
With an array of recipes—both free and via subscription—Assortment is here to lighten the mental load that often comes with cooking. While eating well isn’t always the easiest option at times, Assortment’s seasonal recipes are made simple and cost effective, with minimal waste. One of our Assortment favourites is the crispy smashed potatoes (pictured). With garlic yoghurt sauce and pickled onions, there’s not a meal they don’t complement.
