We all have a piece of clothing, accessory, or beauty product in mind that we’re longing to own this winter, and the FQ team are no different.
If you’re after some inspiration for your next purchase or gifting, here’s what’s on team FQ’s wishlist:

Tom Ford Rose Prick 50ml EDP, $539 from Smith & Caughey’s
Given my penchant for spicy and mysterious scents, a rose-scented fragrance would usually be the last thing to make it onto my wish list. But you can always trust Tom Ford to take an ordinary fragrance note and turn it into an unexpected olfactory experience. Electrifying and unforgettable, Rose Prick is the fragrance I’ll be wearing all winter.
Ruby long-sleeve ‘Cadillac’ dress
Yu Mei Scrunchie ‘Vi’ handbag, $570
Cute, compact and completely irresistible – this little number from Yu Mei is the only arm candy I’ve been eyeing up for the last month or so. Not only is it a dreamy shade of green, the scrunchie-handle detail is the perfect point of difference.

Ganni Chunky Glitter Knit Vest, $429 from Workshop
With winter setting in, my wardrobe is in need of a little fun (and extra warmth), so naturally I’ve been dreaming about the Chunky Glitter Knit Vest by Ganni, available locally from Workshop. Look closer and you’ll discover a sparkly metallic thread running through this chunky ribbed piece, and three pink diamante buttons at the shoulder.
I love the idea of layering it over my daily go-tos — an oversized shirt, trousers and loafers.
Wynn Hamlyn Ally High Waisted Trouser, $450
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pair of high-waisted black trousers for a while now, and I think my search has ended thanks to the Ally High Waisted Trouser by Wynn Hamlyn.
I’m a sucker for clean detailing, so love that they are finished with a facing and hidden hook and eye at the waist. A great after-dark alternative when paired with a black turtleneck, gold jewellery and a red lip.

Meadowlark Solaire Paperclip Necklace, $655
I’ve been patiently awaiting the second and final drop of Meadowlark’s Céleste collection so that I can get my hands on the Solaire Paperclip Necklace.
It’s the perfect everyday medallion to elevate the most simple wardrobe ensemble—and with its swivel closure, I can mix up the pendant’s placement on the daily.
Hair Candy Keratin Conditioning Treatment, $65
Hair Candy is the brainchild of an old friend of mine, Christchurch-based hair
My hair (despite its resilience) often falls victim to the effects of seasonal change, and with the cold snap having well and truly arrived, this Keratin Conditioning Treatment is exactly what my dry tresses need.

Sophie Frills Wheat Bag, $56 from Father Rabbit
Functionality doesn’t need to be boring, and there is power in beautiful design. This is why the Sophie Frills Wheat Bag is on my mind, fitting the brief for both warmth and style.
I think it’ll bring me joy each time it’s used—it’s truly the little things that make me happy—and will blend seamlessly into the decor wherever it lays.
Loeffler Randall Penny Knot Mule, $649 from Superette
I’m searching for wedding shoes to dance the night away in, and the Loeffler Randall Penny Knot Mule heels in gold lamé will go perfectly with a little white dress.
Fittingly, the heels are made with love, with each bow carefully tied by hand. I know I’ll wear and treasure them for a lifetime.

Deadly Ponies Phantom Duffle, $999
Perfect for those year-round travels and weekends away, the Deadly Ponies Phantom Duffle is exactly what I need for upcoming trips exploring New Zealand.
Nike Air Max 90 SE “Recycled Cork”, $209.95 from Culture Kings
I have been eyeing up the Nike Air Max 90 SE “Recycled Cork” trainers for quite some time. A self-confessed trainer lover, these would be the perfect addition to my collection, and they are made from 20% recycled materials!
