The rain came down on Saturday but it didn’t stop the fun times at Splore (it never does).
For it’s 21st anniversary year, a lively crowd descended upon Tapapakanga Park in colourful droves to get amongst the action at the three-day Splore Festival. Music, food, art, performance and dance come together to create an atmosphere of celebration and community, and the chance to express yourself through these outlets make Splore one of the most freeing and creative experiences year in, year out.
Costumes also play a big part in the spirit of Splore, and this year’s theme – Infinity – saw all manner of cool and crazy interpretations, from the colour clashing bold prints and jolting neon to glitter beards, spikes and sequins (so many sequins!)
