A perilous weather forecast couldn’t keep polo fans away from the NZ Land Rover Polo Open party.
As it turns out, we needn’t have worried about the rain – the sun was out and shining brightly, the extravagant setting did not disappoint and, as always, the impeccably dressed crowd pulled on their most head-turning outfits and brought the party atmosphere.
Polo-goers cheered from the sidelines, enjoyed a delicious Peroni Italian Long Lunch and gathered in the stylish Veuve Clicquot Colourama marquee, with bold designs by up and coming artist, Holly Schroder.
Fashion Quarterly was all about the fashion (of course!) bringing you the Fashion On The Field event, where judges, including Fashion Quarterly editor Zoe Walker Ahwa, Newshub presenter Wilhelmina Shrimpton, Crane Brothers’ Murray Crane and Rickie Dee, co-owner of the Superette boutiques, scouted the grounds looking for the best dressed female, best dressed male and best shoe.
