Woman of the moment Sarah Paulson wears a striking red number to the New York premiere of Glass. The dress comes from Calvin Klein’s Pre-Fall 2019 collection making it one of the last of Raf Simon’s designs for the brand. Matching red accessories with hints of mismatched diamonds add a formal edge to the high shine gown, while a deep side part and a crimson red lipstick maintain an overall polished look.

German fashion blogger turned street style star Caroline Daur raises the bar in an off-duty ensemble to Acne Studios’ show during Menswear Paris Fashion Week. Who knew that minty hues could be so chic? But then again, a quick scroll of her Instagram and you’ll discover that anything’s possible with her knack for styling.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge wears an immaculately tailored Oscar de la Renta suit in a deep fuschia while visiting the Royal Opera House in London. Opaque tights (a royal non-negotiable) are fittingly upstaged by a pair of Rupert Sanderson pumps and a top-handled Aspinal bag.

Another red ensemble stops traffic this week, and for good reason – it’s Valentino! Laura Dern sits front row at the Valentino show (shock) during Menswear Paris Fashion Week opting for a blush pink bag to give it a daytime sensibility.

Like something plucked from the pages of a fairytale (if that’s your kind of elegance), Sonam Kapoor wears a pearl pink Mark Bumgarner gown to the International Watch Company Schaffhausen Gala in Geneva, Switzerland. (Okay, now the fairytale reference makes sense). The Indian actress wore her hair slicked back into a low bun and accessorised with diamond stud earrings and Roger Vivier heels.

Kate Moss is seen out and about during Couture Fashion Week in Paris wearing a tried and true formula ( black jeans + black boots + black blazer) with a Kate Moss edge ( leopard print layer underneath, clearly). Though it’s not this week’s front runner, the outfit does make a case for playing with different textures within a colour scheme. High-shine boots with a matte legging and a velvet jacket? She’s crushed it.

And last but not least, a second outfit deserving of a special mention is the Duchess of Cambridge once more who opted for a socially responsible luxury designer this week while out tending to a charity in London: Family Action. The fit-and-flare green dress complete with long sleeves, panelling and an alligator-like skin belt with gold buckle was designed by ethical womenswear brand, Beulah London. Their social mandate being: to empower women through the development of skilled craft techniques and sustainable employment in order to break the cycle of poverty. Could this be a gentle nudge from sister-in-law Meghan Markle, perhaps?
