Small but powerful.

So the story goes that Kanye West sent his wife Kim Kardashian an email saying, “You cannot wear big glasses anymore” that included, “millions of nineties photos with tiny little glasses”.

Now if the Wests plus a cabal of the most stylish women on the planet, including both the Hadid sisters, Adwoa Aboah and Leandra Medine, all agree that big sunnies are out this season it’s worth taking note.

So, in lieu of our old faithful over-sized shades, what should we be wearing? We’ve compiled where all the influencers are getting their specs from in order to steer you in the right direction.

1. Straight to the point:

Stare down the Matrix comments with George Keburia glasses, like Gigi Hadid’s.

2. Circle back:

Fanny Bourdette-Donon’s (Bella Hadid’s BFF) teeny tiny Dior optics may be diminutive in size, but not in appeal.

3. Bad gal appeal:

Rihanna’s go-to designer Adam Selman hit influencer gold with this Le Specs collaboration.

4. Love at first sight:

Takesh Eyewear’s twist on the cat-eye sunglasses is giving us (and Leandra Medine, evidently) heart eyes.

5. Stay sharp:

Meditating on architectural lines lends itself to Poppy Lissiman’s cult Le Skinny shades. This style is a hit with the likes of Adwoa Aboah, the Hadid’s and Justine Skye.
