Glamour and gowns galore.
The Screen Actor’s Guild Awards presented a slightly different red carpet following on from the Golden Globes, which saw actresses and actors take to the event dressed in all black and wearing #MeToo movement pins as a stand against sexual harassment in Hollywood and beyond.
Instead we saw the return of the traditional red carpet with celebrities appearing in a range of colourful gowns. And yet despite the lack of black, the movement and message regarding sexual harassment maintained the same momentum with some attendees choosing to don their #MeToo pins for a second time.
As always standout trends and colours caught our eye with nude and blush tones having a big moment on the red carpet and seen on the likes of Elle Fanning, Saoirse Ronan, Millie Bobby Brown and Madeline Brewer.
Pops of electric blue hues provided a striking contrast on Mandy Moore and Leslie Mann, while other noticeable outfit trends included a high level of sparkle and shine seen in the form of sequins and bead detailing.
Overall, Margot Robbie stole the show in a beautiful Miu Miu halter neck gown complete with bead detailing, a flowing train and ostrich feathers.
