New face oils you need to know about
There’s a face oil for every skin type…

Whether your skin is suffering from dryness following the cool winter months, gets oily as the humidity and the temperature rises, or suffers the age-old problem of fine lines and wrinkles, there’s a face oil out there to help. This year has seen a few new favourites make their way into our beauty bags – and one very special one still yet to be launched!

Here are the face oils stealing the spotlight for 2015…

The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil, $69
This wonderfully light and fragrant oil contains 99 per cent naturally derived oils, and used daily, helps to revitalise the skin and visibly reduce signs of ageing. The formula is enriched with black cumin seed oil known for its high antioxidant concentration, camellia seed oil rich in nutritive oleic acids, and rosehip seed oil which contains high doses of omega 3 and 6.

Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate, $98
Introducing the long-awaited little sister to Kiehl’s best-selling and award-winning Midnight Recovery Concentrate: Daily Reviving Concentrate. This unique blend of 100% natural origin ingredients including ginger root essential oils, tamanu and sunflower seed botanical oils, is formulated for use during the day to help support the skin’s daytime defenses and strengthen its functionality against pollution, UVA/UVB radiation and poor air quality.

Lancôme Absolue Precious Oil, $335
Give your skin a radiance boost with this nourishing oil that combines rose essential oil with seven other precious plant oils to help you glow from within while reinforcing the skin’s barrier function. The oils have been chosen specifically for their ability to combat external aggressors and help repair existing damage to create more natural protection from environmental damage long term.

Goodness Chia Seed Oil, $23.99
We all know that chia seeds make a great addition to smoothies, salads and healthy baking but it turns out this powerful ingredient is just as much a superstar in skincare. Chia seeds are one of nature’s  richest sources of Omega 3, and Goodness have created what they believe to be the perfect 3:1 ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6 fatty acids, which delivers anti-inflammatory support, hydration and nourishment to the skin.

Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Replenishing Cleansing Oil, $79
Since oil attracts oil, there’s no better way to get rid of grease, grime and makeup from the day than by using a cleansing oil. Elizabeth Arden’s new offering features a blend of botanical oils rich in omega 3, 6 and 9, Vitamin E and apricot, safflower and olive oils to restore the skin’s barrier layer while removing cosmetic debris and sebum. Simply pump the oil onto dry hands and massage into dry skin to allow the formula to break down makeup and impurities, then add a small amount of water to emulsify the formula before rinsing clean.

La Mer The Renewal Oil, $360 (on counter November 2, 2015)
This dual-phase formula combines the potency of La Mer’s iconic and cult-status Miracle Broth with a cocktail of sea-sourced nutrients to deliver cell-renewing energy to the face, softening fine lines and wrinkles and helping lift and plump the skin. Perfect for use under makeup during the day and before your serum and moisturiser at night, or, if you love a multi-tasker, this oil is also great for nourishing hair and nails.
