5 things we loved this week

From luxurious new bites at Kingi to Amélie Knits’ love letter to Te Wairoa, these are all the top shops and drops our editors are coveting this week.

1. A love letter to Te Wairoa

Inspired by the whenua of Te Wairoa, AMÉLIE’s latest collection is a moving tribute to place, people, and heritage. Hand-knitted in Aotearoa using thoughtfully sourced fibres, each piece weaves together stories of whakapapa, community, and the rhythms of te taiao. Inspired by time spent among the fibre artists of Te Māhia and evenings immersed in reo Māori, this collection is a celebration of connection and  slow craft. Paired with a striking campaign shot in Te Wairoa by Holly Sarah Burgess and styled by Estelle Schuler, it honours the beauty of making, and the magic found in belonging.

2. Luxury heads south

New Zealand fine jewellers Naveya & Sloane are poised to open the doors to their second showroom this June, marking a pivotal moment in the brand’s 16-year journey. Located in the heart of Christchurch, the new space occupies the first floor of the beautifully restored Midland Club Building at 176 Oxford Terrace — an architectural gem steeped in history and resilience. Bathed in natural light with sweeping bay windows, the showroom blends heritage and modern luxury inside one of the city’s few remaining Renaissance palazzo-style structures post-earthquake. With signature marble cabinetry and gilded accents, the space offers an intimate, immersive experience that mirrors the elegance of the Auckland flagship while embracing the spirit of the south.

3. Burberry goes to Glastonbury

Festival season may feel lifetimes away, but thanks to Burberry’s latest campaign, we’re able to live vicariously through some of the UK’s most iconic festival attendees. Reminiscent of the mid-2000s Glastonbury photos that once dominated every fashion-lover’s Tumblr dashboard, the campaign taps Alexa Chung, Cara Delevingne, and Liam Gallagher to channel the era’s effortlessly cool, mud-streaked style. From sequin party dresses paired with raincoats, knee-high socks and gumboots to mud streaked leather jackets paired with Burberry’s signature check, this reblog-worthy campaign has us wishing we had VIP passes to Glastonbury.

4. Bubbles and bites

This June, Dom Pérignon and Kingi come together once again for a celebration of light, flavour, and finesse. Marking the refresh of Tuawhiti Lane, Kingi’s inner-city courtyard sets the stage for an elevated tasting experience. For four weeks only, enjoy a curated selection of signature bites—like the Te Matuku oyster with kiwifruit and habanero, smoked kingfish croquette with bisque mayo or Wapiti venison nigiri with horseradish and ponzu—designed to pair perfectly with a glass of Dom Pérignon.

5. Collagen Buzz

Allow us to introduce you to an energy drink with a difference: Mānuka Phuel’s Collagen Buzz. Unlike energy drinks of the past, Collagen Buzz delivers a clean, refreshing boost powered entirely by natural ingredients. Think ginseng and guarana for sustained energy, natural caffeine for focus, and New Zealand mānuka honey for a subtly sweet finish—without the synthetic crash or aftertaste. But what truly sets it apart? Marine collagen. Known to support skin elasticity, hydration, and joint health, it’s the beauty-from-within hero we’ve been waiting for. Designed for modern women who do it all, Collagen Buzz is as functional as it is feel-good—an energy drink that works and works for you.
