1. Bridgerton returns!

Officially returning to the small screen for a second season is breakout Netflix hit Bridgerton – with the next installment due to start production this autumn. The news was announced on social media by Netflix late last week, via “Lady Whistledown’s Society Papers”, Julie Andrews’ mysterious (voice-only) character.

While more details are yet to be confirmed, what we do know is this next season will take the spotlight from Daphne and centre around Anthony – and presumably, his affairs. We’re sure there’s plenty more gossip to come, however we’ll have to wait – after all, Netflix did remind us that “patience, after all, is a virtue”.

Until then, we’ve added Julia Quinn’s bestselling – and steamy – romance novels, the Bridgerton series to our reading lists to get our fix of each of the Bridgerton siblings. Best you believe we’ll be devouring these pages with a ratafia in hand.

2. Jo Malone London’s new scent Scarlet Poppy

International travel might be off the cards for the foreseeable future, but that doesn’t mean you can’t transport your senses to some far-flung corner of the globe right now. Jo Malone London’s latest addition to the Cologne Intense collection, Scarlet Poppy, conjures up the cherished flower from the wild grasslands of Asia.  A hint of velvety iris, warm tonka bean, barley and voluptuous fig amplify the enchanting note of scarlet poppy to create a hypnotic, opulent scent that’s impossible to forget.

Jo Malone London Scarlet Poppy Cologne Intense is available now.

3. Kristen Stewart as Diana, Princess of Wales

A first look at Pablo Larraín’s upcoming biopic Spencer was released by Neon this week, with leading lady Kristen Stewart appearing almost unrecognisable in a black net-veiled hat, silk pussy-bow blouse and red coat by Chanel. The vintage red tweed coat, from the fashion house’s Autumn/Winter 1988/1989 ready-to-wear collection is reminiscent of Princess Diana’s 1993 Christmas day ensemble, approximately the same time the film’s storyline takes place.

The film follows a pivotal moment in the Princess’ life – three days to be exact – where Diana evaluates the state of her marriage and faces the tough decision of leaving the royal family.

Tragedy aside, we’re certainly looking forward to watching Kristen Stewart’s transformation – from the Bella Swan we know and love to the Queen of Hearts. And with Jacqueline Durran – the costume designer behind Pride & Prejudice, Atonement and Little Women – leading the wardrobe department, we’re sure this show will do the People’s Princess justice and excite both royal and fashion enthusiasts alike.

Spencer is currently in production and expected to be released later this year, ahead of the 25th anniversary of Diana’s death in 2022.

4. 28 Days of Glow with Dose & Co.

We’re counting down the days until we start our 28 Days of Glow with Dose & Co’s Khloé Kardashian. In a bid to promote self care and the formation of healthy wellness habits, Dose & Co. encourage you to join their community by taking a dose of daily collagen every day for the month of February, sharing how you incorporate your Dose & Co. into your favourite recipes. While a Dose & Co. glow is a reward in itself, Khloé will also be giving away prizes for those sharing their daily dose.

The challenge starts in one week, so be sure to head to doseandco.com for more details!

5. Stay-at-home creativity, with a cocktail in hand

A stay-at-home bespoke gin experience is reimagining the creative process, with Bombay Sapphire’s The Creativity Lab launching four workshops across the month of February, combining the realms of art and mixology.

Blend your own bespoke perfume oil with Rosie Holt of Perfume Playground, learn how to sculpt edible art with The Jellyologist, create polymer clay candlesticks with Olivia Dobrowolski of Sunday Studio and explore the beauty of watercolour painting with Paintvine – all while enjoying complementary mixes of Bombay Sapphire, with garnishes to match each creative venture.

Tickets (and your creative kit) start at $40 and are available for purchase here.
