This week we’re travelling in style in honour of SIXT’s new campaign ambassadors and revelling in the latest and greatest offerings from Shjark, SOPHIE, Jeuneora and Herschel Supply Co.

Shjark | 5 Things We Love | Fashion Quarterly | March 2023

1. J’adore

Paying homage to ‘off-duty Parisian chic’ is Shjark’s latest collection for AW’23, No. 15. A celebration of both style and functionality, the first autumn drop welcomes in a palette of warm ochre, tobacco and ginger colourways, perfectly complemented by their deeper black and navy pieces.

As we move into the winter season, pops of vibrancy are introduced through the addition of bordeaux, peony pink and ice blue tones. Corduroy will feature heavily throughout the collection, as well as knitwear and languid silks to act as layer pieces. Lovers of tailoring can rest-assured knowing that drop two will feature multiple tailored separates including a suit set in three different colourways. “This season, our sleek tailored separates feature a new, softer silhouette, striking a balance between sophistication and ease,” says Shjark Founder and Designer, Amber Gardner.

With the brand’s continued focus on high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship, shoppers can feel confident knowing that they are making a conscious purchase that will last the test of time in their wardrobe.

2. On-the-go

Heading away for a last minute work trip or staycation? The latest accessory additions to Canadian label Herschel Supply are all one needs for stress-free travelling. Following the success of their coveted Herschel Novel duffle, the brand is introducing a new uber-cool Heritage duffle as well as a lightweight Retreat tote to their range.

Designed specifically for ‘last minute plans’, the Heritage duffle comes in three chic colourways (including black, navy and ash rose), and has an accessible opening for easy packing. What’s more, thanks to its ideal carry-on dimensions, this duffle makes for the perfect travel companion.

If it’s an everyday bag you’re after, the Retreat tote might become your new go-to. Compact and effortless, this tote functions somewhere between a handbag and a backpack, complete with a padded laptop sleeve and room for all your essentials.

3. Pretty in pink

We’re thinking pink this week with the latest release from beauty and wellness brand, Jeuneora. Adding on to their already impressive list of supplement offerings is Pink Renew+, a limited edition pink lemonade-flavoured powder that boasts a range of ingredients to help promote healthy hair, skin, nails and gut and body detox. The unique formulation includes marine collagen peptides, vitamin C, Bromelain and hyaluronic acid (among others) to give you the boost you need to look and feel your best.

Jeuneora have teamed up with Breast Cancer Foundation NZ on this product and will be donating $5 from every container of Pink Renew+ sold to help Kiwis affected by breast cancer. So by purchasing Pink Renew+, you’ll not only be showing yourself a bit of care, but supporting those on their breast cancer recovery journey, as well as helping fund critical research and to raise awareness.

4. Seasonal Staples

While known predominantly for their jewellery and accessories, SOPHIE is expanding its range into apparel this autumn. Designed to be worn in conjunction with the brand’s existing jewellery and accessories, this apparel release will feature versatile staples to be worn year round. After the success of SOPHIE’s one-off Always Shirt release last year, this piece has been reimagined in a slightly shorter length, called the Love This Shirt. Cut in both linen and cotton variations for an oversized yet elegant fit, the shirt will be available in forest, ink and white. Other key styles include the In Love Dress and Shacket Jacket (which will no doubt become our top pick for layering come winter).

On the accessory front, you can remain chic while keeping warm with their two new scarf styles and a mohair and wool blend beanie. With multiple fabrications and hues to choose from, there will be something to suit all wardrobes.

Available now at SOPHIE.

5.  Winter’s calling

The team behind our favourite luxury mobility services SIXT has just named two top tier women – Halberg Supreme and Sportswoman of the Year Zoi Sadowski-Synott and alpine skier Piera Hudson – as their new ambassadors. We may not share the same athletic abilities, but what we do share is regular travel calling for stylish out-of-town transport.

Not only do we love the fact that they’re championing two women for their luxury subscription and rental car company, but they’re also making a case for booking a trip down to the Queenstown and lakes region. And with our winter issue in the pipeline, who better to hook us up on our next great escape? We’ll take the Range Rover, please.
