Go big, go home, go anywhere with the shoe trend that’s making its mark on the fashion circuit.

Crocs ‘Echo’ clog, $160.

You needn’t travel far before seeing someone in a pair of Crocs. The soft colourful clog now has a ubiquitous hold on today’s society – including the fashion set. And with high-profile collaborations with the likes of Christopher Kane, Balenciaga, and our personal favourite Simone Rocha, can you blame them? Though they may have started as an easy and comfortable slip-on, they’re now a lot more versatile and acceptable to wear, well, just about anywhere. We’ve seen everyone from content creators to celebrities pairing their oversized, colourful and Jibbitz™-encrusted Crocs with everything from athleisure to the red carpet. It’s clear they should be a stalwart in every curated closet and can be styled with a multitude of different outfits.

Crocs ‘Classic’clog, $100.

1. Off-Duty style

Whether you’re dashing to the supermarket or doing the daycare run, Crocs provide the perfect styling solution to complete your ultimate errand-running ensemble. We suggest donning some loose fitting pants, think: baggy cargos, trackpants or wide leg jeans, and teaming them with a simple tank or tee. The key, as we say, is comfort and with Crocs on your feet you’ll undoubtedly have that.

2. Activewear

To achieve a sleek and uninterrupted activewear look, colour blocking is the ultimate power play. Black leggings with a staple pair of black Crocs will provide a seamless head to toe ’fit (personalised with tactful Jibbitz™, of course). But don’t dismiss other colourways. The fresh aesthetic of teaming white trackpants with white Crocs is a match made in monochromatic heaven. Naturally, and it must be noted, we’re also fans of wearing activewear even if you have no intention of exercising at all…

3. Brunch bound

Weekend looks need to be chic yet comfortable which is often one of the hardest things to execute. Pay attention to fabrications: choose soft, breathable fabrics that mould to your body and don’t constrict you in any way. We suggest starting with pastel-hued Crocs and matching them with a silk maxi skirt and cashmere or soft wool cardigan. Gossiping over mimosas and french toast never looked (or felt) so good.

4. After dark

Forget jeans and a nice top, when styling Crocs for your night out, remember more is more. Lean into the bright and bold array of colours on offer from Crocs and use clashing colours to really make your outfit pop. Luxe fabrics like silks and sheers will elevate any outfit and be the perfect companion to showcase your shoes. While we adore a high-waisted pant and crop top option, Crocs also look incredible with a structural dress that features copious folds and frills, and finished with extra Jibbitz™.

5. Corporate crossing

When executed correctly, a pair of well-chosen Crocs can complete any work outfit. But, depending on your company culture, this is the one look you need to take a little more of a considered approach with. Our advice? Exercise with caution. Opt for monochrome Crocs that bring a certain level of sophistication. These are perfect when paired with tailored suiting. Right now we’re obsessed with suit pants, a simple tee and an oversized blazer. To finish, team with a cute pair of socks.
