STAY

I love Malá Strana where I’m currently living as it’s right on the river and central to everything, but away from the tourist crowds of Old Town. It’s surrounded by amazing eateries and parks, and everything I’d want is a 20-minute walk away — it’s a total bubble. The architecture in Malá Strana is gorgeous, all walled gardens, cathedrals and stunning centuries-old homes. Before we found our apartment, we stayed in Airbnbs — it’s my favourite way to explore a city as you quickly get a taste of local life.

SUP

My ultimate meal is brunch, so Eska has to be on the list. It has a cool industrial interior, they bake their own products and the menu is super interesting, all fresh and local. My favourite gallery here is Kunsthalle, which showcases Czech modern art and has a wonderful restaurant too. I hear they do a decadent brunch on Sundays.

SHOP

I’m biased because they’ve been stocking Kowtow for years, but my favourite store is Nila, a gorgeous, multi-brand boutique focusing on sustainability, with three beautiful outlets across the city. A local friend took me to a great gallery and shop called SmetanaQ that exhibits products from Czech designers ( I have my eyes on some of the coloured glass vases), and I recently found a dream bookshop called KAVKA Book, with a chrome-detailed interior housing books by my favourite architects.
