If you are fond of sugary treats and feminine silhouettes, you’ll love these perfumes.

When Marilyn Monroe was asked what she wore to bed, she would simply, and sweetly, respond: “Chanel No. 5”.  The now famous perfume was first created as a scent of liberation in the 1920s, with its various floral notes breaking free from the single floral essences worn by ‘respectable’ women at the time.

Now with most perfumes indulging a range of beautiful scents, the latest floral perfumes capture a free spirit with notes of rose, gardenia and lilac that are both delicate and decadent. Here are our pick of the floral perfume bunch.

Clockwise from left: Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue ONLY NYC EDP 75ml, $79. Boss The Scent for Her EDP 100ml, $180.
Viktor & Rolf Bonbon Couture EDP 50ml, $180. Creed Royal Princess Oud EDP, $449.
