New Zealand’s first Chanel beauty boutique is officially open!

Beauty lovers, the day has finally come… The doors to New Zealand’s first Chanel fragrance and beauty boutique are now open!

To be honest, it’s surprising we’re even sitting here writing this instead of queuing up at the door to get in… That’s what Saturdays are for though, right?

The Auckland boutique offers customers the latest Chanel makeup collections as well as a skincare bar showcasing tailored offerings for every complexion. And in addition to housing Chanel’s legendary fragrance collection, the store is home to a dedicated eyewear salon featuring a comprehensive collection of Chanel sunglasses. Hello, white camellia detailing, pearls, tweed and interlaced chains – we’ve waited so long!

Located in Auckland’s downtown shopping district, Chanel has restored and incorporated the original 1900s brickwork and the traditional New Zealand Kauri timber floors of the Britomart Building into the design concept of the loft-like boutique space. The walls boast artworks inspired by the Chanel colour collections and products themselves.
